This was a massive undertaking, but as a New York City resident, it was one of the most exciting web project. We dedicated time to refining and restructuring the site map, and made thoughtful changes to typography and color schemes. Alongside two other digital designers, we completely overhauled the site, starting with the homepage. We introduced fun interactions, including light and dark modes based on the time of day, countdowns to New Year's, and confetti animations for New Year's Eve. Our goal was to provide tourists with clear guidance on where to go, where to stay, and everything to do in Times Square—all while maintaining a beautiful and engaging design.
